Hmm. Summarizing Good Omens... I must be capable of it, I wrote a paper on the book. (Really!) However, as I generally suck at dust-jacket summaries, this will probably come out of it a bit longer than that.
Anyway.
The world is going to end on Saturday. Yes, this Saturday. Shortly after tea or just before dinner, depending on your mindset and country of origin. At least, it is according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter - and she’s never wrong.
There are, however, a few complications along the way. A member of the Chattering Order of Saint Beryl misplaced the Antichrist during the original baby-switching. So now someone as to find him. The Horsepersons have been properly rounded up, but they’re dealing with some other bikers at the moment.
And then you’ve got the representatives of Heaven and Hell, who actually aren’t to excited about this whole Armageddon business...
In short, it’s a book. It’s about the Apocalypse. And it’s funny. I guess you have to read it to believe it - it’s worth whatever amount of hunting it may take you.
